May 20 - June 13

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), in partnership with the Beyond Zero Initiative, invites eligible candidates to apply for the 2026/2027 Certificate in Community Health Nursing Scholarship Programme.

The scholarship aims to increase access to quality health training for young Kenyans from underserved communities while strengthening the country’s community health workforce. Priority will be given to qualified applicants from selected Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) counties, underserved minorities, and other Vulnerable and Marginalised Groups (VMGs) who are committed to serving their communities upon graduation. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship for the two-year Certificate in Community Health Nursing course beginning in September 2026. Applicants are required to submit a handwritten essay (maximum 200 words) explaining why they deserve the scholarship and how they intend to contribute to improving health in their communities after completing the programme.

Applications must be completed through the KMTC admissions portal, after which applicants should print the completed application form, attach the required supporting documents, obtain the necessary signatures and stamps, and submit the application to the Director/Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Medical Training College by June 13, 2026.

For detailed eligibility requirements and application instructions, applicants should refer to the official scholarship advertisement.
